SNL character: the alpha male Office Manager who berates and then violently assaults his employees while screaming "I am a STRONG MAN".
That one gets a laugh out of me.

My kids think WF is the funniest person. They love Kicking and Screaming, my favorite scene is WF yellin at Mike Ditka to go fetch him a juice box and calling him juice box boy.

My kids belly laugh (there kinda young) when I showed them the clip from SNL of WF hosting the Mark Jensen Christmas Special. The one where he is singing "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" while standing on the spinning pedestal until he throws up. Priceless

I didn't realize Will Ferrell had more than one character!

oh, just remembered that scene from "Anchorman" where they just randomly start singing "Afternoon Delight". and that crazy fight scene w/ the other news team. I haven't seen all of his movies yet, but I think "Anchorman" is my favorite WF movie

did anyone else like him in "Stranger than Fiction"? it was so weird seeing him in a (somewhat) serious role

Ricky Bobby. I absolutely love Talladega Nights.

The rest of his movies kinda suck...

i think a lot of people may disagree with me, but i think will ferrell's best role was in "Stranger Than Fiction". It's not the funniest movie in the world, and it's not supposed to be, but I think it's such an interesting concept and has a really cool message. It brought Ferrell out of his comedic shell and allowed him to explore a totally different role. I love that movie

Absolutely. His comedy is mostly just schlock to me.
Comic actors with talent often pull themselves out of the lame comedy blockbuster genre and move into better roles. Jim Carrey and Bill Murray have been able to do that - so if Ferrell cares about acting and quality films, then maybe he will as well.
