It seems to me that though Candy was very talented he was also in ALOT of very bad pictures. I can hardly think of a picture he was in that was good except The Blues Brothers and then he was just a small part.
But the pictures he starred in were generally pretty bad. My opinion of course.

Uncle Buck and Stripes were my favorite JC roles, but you can't forget his work in "Who's Harry Crumb". It was a silly movie, but hysterical all the same!
PTA, Uncle Buck, Only the Lonely... John Candy was no Bobby DeNiro, but, he had a great big heart that showed through in his roles... I think Hollywood is missing that heart right now, as we all do!
