I would love to 're-discover' Alfred Hitchcock:

Vertigo
Rear Window
The Man Who Knew Too Much
The Birds
North By Northwest

Independence Day (I know I'm a geek but I loved it!)
Rocky IV (don't know if it was a blockbuster but I still remember standing and cheering at the end!)

Star Wars.
I remember that I had to clean the pool, mow the lawn, clean my room and vaccum the upstairs before my step-dad would consider letting me see this movie. I was the second person in line and only had a minimal idea of what the movie was about based on an article in "Dynamite" magazine. My friends teased me without end for wanting to see this movie. After seeing all of the possibilities of what could be, the morality tales, and the light sabers and Jedi - I was hooked. Having to go through all of that to see the first Star Wars was worth it.
The new generation of the franchise failed to capture the emotional or even spiritual feel of the first.

The movie IS STILL G00D,but there was NO REASON to make it so we could see INSIDE THE SHIP!!! (It takes some of the suspense away)
