It's okay, but it is a fantasy (or SF) movie, so don’t expect it to be historically accurate.
Nevertheless it is a decent action movie, not great but also not bad either.

"Clan of the Cave Bear" was better, which just shows how bad this movie was
We got it through pay-per-view. It was just ... bad. Boring, disjointed, wooden acting, stupid script. Special f/x that looked like they were created with free download software. We couldn't even sit and heckle the movie - there was nothing to laugh about. At least in other Roland Emmerich movies you could play "which hero dies next" and predict how they go ("Day After Tomorrow" - I predicted one of the heroes would drop thru an ice hole. 5 minutes later - there he goes!) And now I check IMDB and see that he is doing "2012" (the Mayan calendar ends - and so does the world) with an all star cast (John Cusack? doesn't he having something better to do?)

Worst movie I've seen. I can't remember the last movie I turned off, I only made it through 40 minutes of that dog crap.

I rented it on pay per view a few days ago. Got bored 15 minutes into it and forced myself to watch it the whole way through. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it about a 2.

As said before, it was as historically accurate as "The Flintstones". Hope all this discourages anyone else from paying any $ to see it.

 Why?
The movie never pretended to be anything other than fiction.
I mean Star Wars obviously never happened, but it still is a great movie even when some scenes were based on (read: stolen from) scenes from old b/w Japanese movies.
