I have about 300 DVD's ...but no bluerays ....are they really that much better ? Is the picture quality so much better to justify the much higher price ?
I also still have approx 700 VHS tapes....I own 5 VCR'S AND 2 DVD players
If I switched my entire collection to Bluerays it would cost over $40,000
so I ain't doing that
I'm waiting for the next leap in technology to come along....
...the way things area going that'll be ...hmmm 2012 ?

Dear god the hubby has an insane amount of dvds but not only dvds he still has VHS?!?!?!?!? Can you believe that! I tried to take all the vhs to the dump this past weekend and he freaked because some of them you can't find on dvd yet. UGH!!! I like to buy t.v. series on dvds but i don't really get into buying movies on dvd.
I'm not really sure how many we have, but we're showing our house and I've packed all but 33 (that's how many fit on the shelf under the TV). It's about 10 boxes with about 40-50 DVDs per box.
