LOS ANGELES (AP) — Warner Bros. says it's bumping Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from its planned November release into next summer.

The sixth installment in the blockbuster franchise about boy wizard Harry now will open July 17 rather than Nov. 21, the studio said Thursday.

I can't believe they pushed the movie release back so far! We were finally under 100 days before the movie was supposed to go out, and now poof....nearly another year to wait! I feel like Christmas was cancelled or something.

I read WB is pushing it back because Dan Radcliffe is going to be on Broadway doing "Equus" in November and they don't want that conflicting with the movies release. Even so, why put it off for nearly another year?? The first trailer is already out for petes sake! Bad decision, IMO.......it'll have been 2 full years since OOTP by the time HPB comes out now. I don't understand it.
