movie help!!! i can't figure out the name of this movie!!! please help!!!! (family, actors)

this movie is a kids movie. it starts out with kids coloring and their dog comes in and takes a crayon or stick or something and he jumps into the coloring book or something and then inside there, there is a woman who doesn't have color. later, she meets a group of green guys and they sing john jacob jingle heimer smit. then she meets some yodlers and they sing this song that i can't think of right now, but it has something about a bear (ARRghh) and a mountain or avalanche. then she meets a red family who are sitting on the porch. they sing a song that has lyrics something like this, "...has acold upon her chest and they wrapped it with medicated oil." something like that. later, she meets a wizard women and she goes in and there are things creatures in this little bed and they sing this song about, "we all roll over and then there are 3..." during the movie she uses this magnifying glass to see things and make things better.
i saw this movie in like 1998 or 2001 or something like that. it was a good movie when i was little and i really want to know what it is. thanks

I don't know the name of the movie, but the words to "John Brown's Body" go something like this: John Brown's body has a cold upon its chest, a cold upon its chest, a cold upon its chest. John Brown's body has a cold upon its chest and he rubbed it with camphorated oil.
I also don't know what possible purpose that song could fill, (John Brown was an abolitionist) but thanks for the childhood memories!!

Hey I am trying to figure out a movie for my dad...
It is an older movie...
Lady kills husband and then fills bag with baseballs and swings it hitting her making it look like the husband beat her up and then wench's herself up in the house and the cops find her hanging there. Then they think she killed him for his money but she donates her inheritance. Then at the end she sells a priceless painting and makes millions so makes out in the end. He can't remember actors or the name of the movie??? PLEASE HELP - THANK YOU!
