some other shows that may be cool as a movie:

-David the Gnome. though it may be a bit too eco-centric for some (granted, no where near as eco-centric as Captain Planet!)
-Gummi Bears. no clue on how they could do the bouncing bears w/o going to cutesy-annoying if it was live action, but a feature length animated/CGI movie would be wicked awesome!
-Gargoyles. WHY haven't this been done yet!?!?! this was one of the most complex, intriguing cartoons of the 90's!
- a live action Care Bears movie. ok, I'm joking. sort of. (come on, wouldn't you love to see a real life brown bear, dyed hot pink of course, just stand up on its rear legs and blast you with love and hearts from its belly? come on! )

I completely forgot about Gargoyles. And here's two more 90's classics for ya.... Biker Mice from Mars and Reboot. A Johny Quest movie would be cool, too.

sunnysky is on a distinguished road
I would love to see a movie based on The Jetsons. Not sure who I'd cast in the roles, but I could totally see Danny DeVito playing Mr. Spacely.

I checked Wikipedia found the following
Quote:
In May 2007, director Robert Rodriguez entered talks with Universal Studios and Warner Bros. to film a live action film adaptation of The Jetsons. He had also met with Universal Studios to direct a film adaptation of Land of the Lost. Rodriguez was uncertain which project he would pursue next, though the latest script draft for The Jetsons by Adam Goldberg was further along in development.[
