Default What is this Christmas movie?

Hi. I'm looking for a Christmas movie from I think the 1970's that might be in "The Waltons". I can't find it in any "Little House on the Prairie" Xmas episode.
The father is still gone on a snowbound Christmas Eve and a worried family awaits. He does make it there okay and barely in time and brings in the sack of presents. He tells the story of him having to tackle Santa to get the presents.
Thank you!

I know this one - it's called The Homecoming - A Christmas Story (1971). It starred Patricia Neal as the mom. It's actually a very good xmas movie - but, haven't seen it in years.

I have The Homecoming on VHS, and still watch it every Christmas. Is a wonderful and heartwarming story. Patricia Neal one of my favorites (now deceased). There are several other holiday episodes of Waltons, later on with Michael Learned as the mother.
