I am guessing it's in reference to the rape scene and the lesbian sex scene.

The Swedish version of the movie for the Dragon Tattoo series is far better than the American version imo, but that's because it was broken down into an almost mini series, which is what it deserves, instead of trying to cram each book into 1 movie.

I remember a while ago reading "A Clockwork Orange" was rated as one of the most disturbing movies. I imagine for when it was released, it might have been disturbing at the time. However, maybe because I finally got to sit down and watch it last year, I wasn't bothered by it really.

The Swedish version is far superior. The sex/rape scenes were graphic, yes, but not really what "hard-core" is.

I think CW has become tame over the years.

Testament

It's a 1980s human drama movie about nuclear war fallout affecting a small town in California.
No special effects, no explosions... just the awful day to day living and dying in the aftermath.

Very similar to the British docudrama Threads made in the early 80's, about nuclear war. It shows the complete breakdown of society and the long-term effects of radiation, the loss of civility, of culture, of language.

The SF movie Skyline isn't the worst, but, it's in the top 10.
