The Road. Deeply disturbing. Also it brought back a lot of feelings from the times I was a single father.

I will nominate Kids (1995) based on my age at the time, the realness of it all, And the topic that everyone was terrified of back then. Still left a lasting impression into my adult years.

This has to be the most disturbing movie of all time, I wish I could unwatch it.

I found The Road brutally depressing and a few scenes disturbing (people in basement) but Irreversable is a far more disturbing movie. If you haven't seen it, don't.

Dancer in the Dark. I was depressed for awhile.

The documentary Paradise Lost made me throw up. I couldn't believe they convicted those kids.

Agree with both of these.

I would have to say that “Conspiracy” was by far the most disturbing movie I have seen. It was about the NAZI hierarchy having a conference to plan Hitlers final solution. The casualness in which these maniacs discussed the logistics of the slaughter of millions of people was evil incarnate. Saw it a few years ago on a streaming service and it stays with me to this day.
