The title is "Clearcut" and it is 1980's era. It stars a well-known Native actor (played Kicking Bird in Dances with Wolves--something Greene is his name). I have been trying to lay my hands on this movie for years. My ex-boyfriend was a movie buff and I watched it with him 10 years ago or so.

Netflix does not have it.

Have you tried Amazon.com? I have found some hard to find movies there.

The movie with Graham Greene was released in 1991. It is available from Amazon.

It's currently streaming on SHUDDER. I watched it the other day. Dated in a lot of ways, but all in all, still a great flick. Greene is fantastic in it.

I once found an even more obscure movie. It was a made for TV movie called Nowhere To Run with David Janssen. It only ever showed on TV in the 70's. It was a really clever story and I was itching to watch it again. I posted on the IMDB message board seeking help and damned if a guy didn't get in touch with me. He had taped it off TV years before and would make me a copy. I sent him a hundred bucks and I still watch it every year or two. The internet is amazing.

The question about Clearcut was asked 15 years ago, but for the record, you can often find old, obscure movies on eBay. :

OK, I got one.

very specifically this EXACT TITLE:

"Tall Blonde Man With One Red Shoe."

It was an extremely popular film. Tom Hanks did a remake which was nowhere near as good, there was a sequel with a black shoe (which is sorta funny if you can understand French).

The original was the French, The Tall Blonde Man With One Black Shoe (1972): https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068655/?ref_=tt_trv_cc

The American remake was, The Man with One Red Shoe (1985): https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089543...h%2520one%2520

There is no Tall Blonde Man With One Red Shoe.
