So I went to see this movie last night. Brilliant yet the most troubling movie I have seen in a while. I still can't forget it.

I wanted to see this movie but it's not at my theater. I guess I'll have to wait for HBO to get it.

I saw it yesterday, too. Depressing as hell! My mom had read the book beforehand, and she told me that the sister is even less sympathetic than in the film. I'm wondering how that's possible! She said they made the mother out to be more likable and sympathetic in the film, also. I guess they wanted the audience to be able to like more than a couple of the characters. The actress who played the mother did an incredible job, I think, and I had a difficult time watching her struggle with everything.
