Is this movie any good?I remember seeing trailors and teasers on the T.V and thought it looked really good and then it just disappeared,I didn't hear of any reviews or anything....Or maybe it was just me being under a rock or something!

To me, it was "ok". Nothing new or groundbreaking. I saw it back in October. Sort of an "Unlawful Entry" remake, which I though UE was much better. Samuel Jackson, of course is the reason I saw Lakeview, though. The movie tries too hard to make a point regarding IR relationships, but overall, I would suggest seeing it on DVD.

This story had already been told. Even the character- years back with Michael Douglas. So I knew what was coming within a few minutes. So I didn't enjoy it as much as the next person.
Yea, it was worth renting if you have nothing else to do but movie night, but I thought it was very predictable as well. I also agree with Samuel L. Jackson in this one. I am not a fan of his in the first place, but I thought he played the role of "arrogant racist" pretty well. I like him in more of a good guy role. He was good in "Black Snake Moan".
Don't waste the money on this one. Jackson can't even save it.

I never saw UE but I was pissed in the movie theaters when I saw this. I love seeing Samuel Jackson play crazy; he does it so well but when the reason for his craziness came out I was like "are you serious" after that the movie kinda fell flat for me.
