Default I recommend you put "Imaginary Heroes" on your queue

I'm not sure where I heard about this, may have been in a book "1,000 Movies To See", or similar title. Reading the review I got intrigued and put it on my netflix queue.

Sigourney Weaver, Emile Hirsch ("Into The Wild"), Jeff Daniels, Michelle Williams (I've loved here since "Dick"), so there's a lot to like. Parts are a bit hard to watch, and it's a slowly unfolding story, but when I suggested pausing it with 10 minutes to go so as not to miss an appointment my wife said, "they can wait".

We both enjoyed it.

Thanks golf--it looks like it might be a tough one to watch, along the lines of In the Bedroom or The Ice Storm.

Wow--what a great movie!
It was actually less like In the Bedroom and more like The Squid and the Whale, but I liked it better. There was enough off-the-wall humor to lighten the tone just a bit. Emile Hirsch and Sigourney Weaver were especially good.
