Five only? I can name 5 baseball movies that are probably in my top 20 movies of all time:
Bull Durham
Field of Dreams
Major League
Comrades of Summer
It Happens Every Spring
Also:
Pride of St. Louis
Pride of the Yankees
The Sandlot
Little Big League (surprisingly good and realistic, the kid in it knows a ton about baseball and the interactions are the most realistic I've seen in a baseball movie aimed towards a youth audience)
The Natural
Non-Baseball movies:
Rocky IV (sure, the first one was a better film, but #4 is awesome in its cold-war cheese...)
Necessary Roughness
Happy Gilmore
Tin Cup
Eddie (loved that I'm not the only one who mentioned this diamond in the rough)
The Sixth Man
Rebound: The Legend of Earl 'The Goat' Manigault (AMAZING movie with Don Cheadle and James Earl Jones)
Pistol (The story of Pete Maravich)
Blue Chips
The Waterboy
Hoosiers
Varsity Blues
For now, that's all I can think of.

after reading these choices...too hard to pick just one. makes me want to hit a video store and re-watch a lot of these movies. Remembering the first Rocky movie and how much we loved it. Hoosiers...We are Marshall. How we laughed and enjoyed "Slap Shot" while in college!! Kevin Costner in Field of Dreams. Just too many to choose.
