I sit about 7 feet away from my LCD tv. The salesman at Best Buy told me for that distance, 32" or 37" would be best. Any larger that 37" would be difficult to see the whole screen....and I agree. I originally bought a 32" 720 and was happy with it. Then I decided to buy a 37" because I loved the 32" LCD picture so much. But I bought a 37" 1080p this time around. Beautiful picture. Even though my cable provider only broadcasts one channel in 1080, it still looks beautiful. I plan to move my 32" downstairs as soon as my family room remodel is complete.
