Post News, What was the worst movie of the year?

Myers' 'Guru' up for year's worst.

Mike Myers' "Love Guru" may speak of "yin and yang," but the Hollywood version of bad balanced by good might be the Razzies and the Oscars.

Yeah, I second this one. I wanted to like it...a lot. But it was painfully bad...even worse than "Meet Dave" another painfully bad movie I wanted to like.

Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy are awesome with good scripts, but they really choose some BAD scripts!

Why did Romany Malco go from "Weeds" to "The Love Guru"?

Only one of those I actually saw was the new Indiana Jones movie, which I really liked.

Of the ones I saw it would have to be "Indiana Jones" and "Sweeney Todd". Both absolutely atrocious.

I thought it was okay--certainly didn't hate it.
The movie produced a new colloquialism: Nuke the 'fridge

I haven't seen any of the other 'worst movies.'
The Love Guru's trailer was so awful, I couldn't imagine renting the dvd, let alone paying to see the movie in a theater.

I thought Wall-E was forgettable. I think it's safe to say that I will never see it again.

Never wasted my time w/Guru.

I nominate that piece of crap Appaloosa... horrible acting, stupid story line and Zellweger was uglier than hell in that and a tramp.

I can understand not liking that movie but it does not even deserve consideration for anything close to worse film.

My kids liked wall-e a lot, they watched the dvd a few times already. And I like that peter gabriel song "down 2 earth". I was a cute flick.

Wall-E? Are you kidding? That's the best one Pixar has done. It was incredible. These are stupid though. Did anyone think Disaster Movie and Hottie and The Nottie really could be anything but horrible?

I can see The Love Guru being an okay nominee because it was expected to be somewhat decent and was supposed to make some good money. But come on, a Paris Hilton movie and any of the "---" Movies just kind of makes a mockery of the razzies.

This says it all "She really is neither a movie star or an actress," Wilson said of Hilton.

So why is she or the movie up for one of these awards?
