Has anyone besides me ever brought beer into the movie theater and gotten really drunk? Or am I just a redneck?

This was in my younger days. I can't believe I didn't get kicked out of Bram Stoker's Dracula. I must have spilled three Busch pounders.

lol, that's funny.

I did it once back in my younger days too. I went with 3 other people and we brought those little tiny bottles of booze and made mixed drinks with the soda we bought at the theater. The movie was Basic Instinct.

Here in Portland, we have a bunch of second-run theaters that serve beer in them.

Just doesn't have the same thrill as sneaking it in .... but it does keep the kids out!

I had a few people hauled off by the police for doing that. Nothing personal, but I got F*&^ing tired of cleaning up the puke. Othertimes, when we found drinkers in the auditoriums we would give them the ultimatum of hand it all over and watch the film, or get outta Dodge without a refund. The staff usually appreciated the donations.

The Arclight Theaters here in LA have places where you can get a mixed drink but BEFORE going into the theater. I went to a movie once and someone in the row behind me cracked open some alchohol that smelled terrible. I had them thrown out. Hope they got arrested for drinking in public which is ILLEGAL!!!
