No it did not. It just shows how much people shouldnt speak when they dont know enough about the subject.

In 1971, French Connection won, not Clockwork Orange.

Same goes with Dr. Zhivago. It looks like people are just responding, copying other people's wrong information.

I'd say Crash though

Have to agree with The English Patient people here. Rented it and didn't even finish watching. Was bored to tears. Holy cow it was so bad, that would have been the only time I would've walked out of a theater over a bad film. I couldn't return it fast enough.

Default 1990 winner.

Double nominee on this one;worst ever Oscar winner and worst historical film ever made.Dances With Wolves, from start to finish, has so many historical errors and just plain wrong things in it that it would take several posts just to point them out.As a history buff with a special interest in the Indian wars,it was painful to sit through it.This film often is shown on cable, and after almost 20 years am still unable to view it,so no longer try.The Dakota plains of 1863 were a far different place than was portrayed in the film, and the Sioux (Lakota) conducted themselves in a far more violent, brutal way,not at all like the peaceful, noble, good hearted men in the film. This work is left wing Hollywood revisionism at its worst;made the way we think it should have been, not the way it actually was.
