Saw the preview on the big screen (preceded Paterson). Which may or may not mean it will play here, but there's always hope!
From the trailer, it seems the dialogue (and having to read the subtitles at the bottom of the screen) comes in rapid fire, which draws you away from the actors face when they declare their comments. Just something I noticed.
Hostel 2005: I am not a real big fan of Eli Roth movies. I think he tends to take gross and disturbing to the next level and torture porn films are not my cup of tea. I had seen the first one probably back when it came out and recently saw it on HULU, so I decided to revisit it. The first one is pretty tame compared to the others. It really wasn't as horrible as I remembered it being.
Hostel 2 2007: This one is just god awful. Nothing redeeming about this film in any way. This one was just beyond disgusting and I actually fast forwarded through many parts. I know that these films and most films by Eli Roth are all about shocking and disturbing acts of violence, I get that, but man this one was just so bad.
Hostel 3 2011: This one was not directed by Eli Roth and therefor it was much better. Still disgusting and disturbing, but nowhere near the torure porn of the second one.
I know Eli Roth is making a 4th installment in this franchise. Can't even begin to imagine what he will do for shock value in that one. And yes, I'll probably see it.
Eye opening documentary on what its like to be black in America, tough to watch..
