I am ready for the next one. I heard they are going to go back to the original concept. That's even better!
Can't wait for this to come to On Demand - missed it at the theaters!

I watched The Zookeepers Wife last week-end and I loved it. I watched a movie last week-end told from the point of view of the Medic and I loved it too. Hacksaw Ridge.

Sour Grapes (2016). A documentary about the wine fraŁdster Rudy Kurniawan. The guy fooled a lot of rich people, including one of the Koch brothers. The film is definitely worth watching.

The Glass Castle. I didn't like it. I think the actors were awesome, though. If the father was so brilliant, it was not conveyed very well in the movie. The movie showed only self involved parents and child abuse. I only paid $3. and that's about what it was worth.

Christine. About Christine Chubbuck, the Florida newswoman who shot herself on live TV in 1974. Excellent movie, even better acting. RIP Christine.

I read the book, something has me holding back from seeing the movie and now I know why. The book didn't praise the father nor the mother, it may have been sympathetic to them and allowed that they suffered from a form of mental ills, but, I don't recall any degree of putting them on a peddle stool. Ms. Walls, loved her parents in spite of themselves, but, I do think in the book she called them on their wrongs. This was one of my favorite books, I think this movie might spoil the memory of the book, best I pass on it.
