Alita is the best one of his movies so far...I’ve been a fan since From Dust til Dawn!!
I've seen a number of his movies, but I'd never seen him interviewed before.
I knew that Linklater and some other filmmakers are based in Texas, but I didn't know that Rodriguez is...nor that Cameron had encouraged him re doing a lion's share of the work re 'Alita' in Austin.
Soldier of Orange (Dutch: Soldaat van Oranje, IPA: [sɔlˈdaːt fɑn oˈrɑɲə]) is a 1977 Dutch film directed and co-written by Paul Verhoeven and produced by Rob Houwer, starring Rutger Hauer and Jeroen Krabbé. The film is set around the German occupation of the Netherlands during World War II, and shows how individual students have different roles in the war. The story is based on the autobiographical book Soldaat van Oranje by Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema.
I'm a huge fan of the Rocky films, its my favorite franchise, but the Creed films are horrible, and its because Michael B. Jordan is the most boring actor I've ever seen in my life, has absolutely no charisma, no screen presence....and the fight scenes are boring too, because he's hopeless at throwing punches.
They should have cast John David Washington, he's a far better actor, great charisma and vocal delivery....and he's athletic too (former footballer).
My grades for the Creed films:
Creed (2015) = 3/10
Creed 2 (2018) = 2/10
