We watched Unthinkable with Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Sheen last night. It showed as being rated as a 4 star movie on the Dish Network movie description (which is rare, usually reserved for masterpieces), so we gave it a whirl. It was a 2010 movie, but I don't remember it being in the theatre.
Easily THE BEST movie I have seen in quite some time. Several parts are difficult to watch (think of a cross between Hostel and Rendition). But the movie most definitely poses the question of "How far is it okay to go when interrogating a terrorist that has possession of a nuclear weapon?"
Midnight In Paris, Woody Allen's best movie in ages!!!!!
Agree... LOVED that! Just saw it last weekend. It was a nice surprise because I didn't know the plot & hadn't known Woody came out with a new movie. Loved the story. My favorite is still Manhattan Murder Mystery with Diane Keaton... but... I just like Woody, dispite all his personal flaws.
Vanessa Redgrave & a young Uma Thurman & a British actor...set pre-WWII. A hotel in Italy on Lake Como is the setting-just a poignant tale of
life and love as an adult. Very sweet and easy to watch...
