I think it was Dodgeball.
A True Underdog Story.
The last film I saw at the theaters seems ages ago, though.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner is a wonderful movie, I saw it as a youngster and it made a big impression!

Performance, a movie with Mick Jagger is the last movie I watched. It was OK. Brit pulp eye candy, Mick is a strange bird.

Agreed Ans. Manhunter, at the time, was the most unsettling movie I'd seen. I saw it at a film festival & made everyone leave lights on for days. It was nicely done & creepy, although Noonan is always creepy to me, for some reason, no matter which role he plays. But, his Tooth Fairy character still unhinges me... he doesn't overplay it, which somehow makes it more believable & scary. I just watched it again recently & the only thing that distracts is the over the top 80's soundtrack.

But, I preferred Brian Cox as Hanibal Leckter (this was the first use of this character on film) & William Petersen was quite handsome & young, complete with a slightly bow-legged walk. Wonderful film for those who like serial killer movies.

Hubby and I watched The Witches of Eastwick last night for the first time. Not bad.

Roman Holiday (1953) with Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn. My all-time favorite film and actors. When they died, so did Hollywood.

Detective Dee and the case of the Phantom Flame. It's a Chinese movie from 2010 that just appeared in our local artsy theatre. I went with a big crowd and we generally enjoyed it. Quite over the top. It was like Pirates of the Caribbean meets Sinbad of the Seven Seas meets The Matrix meets Sherlock Homes. The costuming and sets were gorgeous. Some of the stunts were ridiculous. It was slightly long for my taste, but overall it was fun.
