Midnight in Paris was very nice, I loved it too.

Haven't seen Bad Teacher but Cameron Diaz lost her charm since There is Something About Mary..sorry ! Can't believe people still fall for her movies.

I just finished watching "The Green Butchers". Nice dark comedy, reminded me of Delicatessen, not as artistically done though, but still okay. I am a fan of Mads Mikkelsen's acting so I loved it but some may not feel the same way.

The Sitter- Last movie I saw at the movies. My significant other is a huge fan of Jonah Hill and any of *those* type of movies. LOL. Wasn't my first choice, for sure.

Midnight in Paris was like a dream for me.

I hated There's Something About Mary ... I didn't mind Diaz in The Box.

Official 'Once Upon a Time in Anatolia' trailer. Release Date: January 4, 2012 - YouTube

Also saw "Mirror, Mirror" at the week-end, a ravishingly sumptuous treat visually, superb cinematography but sadly a bit of a disappointment with two of the lead characters ( Snow White and the Prince) bland and dull as could be. No spark of chemistry between them either. Poor choice in casting resulted in a whimper rather than a bang. Beautiful to look at though and Julia Roberts did a good job of the role as the Evil Queen. A tighter more sarcastic script would have enhanced it. A little too Hollywood for my tastes but not too bad.

And then the big disappointment of the week :

Aardman / Sony presents - THE PIRATES! BAND OF MISFITS (Trailer) - YouTube

Absolutely beautiful to look at, very intricate sets ( you spend most of the time pondering how amazing the animation is), but rather lame script making it a huge disappointment. I was really looking forward to that one but it simply failed in my books. Not particularly funny, not moving or clever either. Give me "Up" or "Ratatouille" any day.
I've always taken your critiques into consideration when evaluating a movie...you always seem to nail it!
Thanks for "Mirror, Mirror" warning...you just saved me some bucks!

I just watched "Wrath of the Titans" and it was just as good as "Clash of the Titans" with the same hero playing what's his name starting with a "P"!

watched "My Week with Marilyn" last night.
I'm not sure when I've seen a movie as bad as this one.
I hated everything about it.
Wasn't a fan of Marilyn Monroe but thought this movie might change my mind somewhat about her............nope--they made me dislike her even more.
