Eyes Wide Shut. It was on TV the other night.

First time I saw it, I was in a hotel room on a business trip, and it kind of freaked me out.

This time I couldn't help but notice how wooden the acting was and how poor the dialogue was. It seemed like half the dialogue consisted of one character repeating another character's statement, only in question form. It was to the point where I was sure if they were discussing the sky, it would go something like this:

One: The sky is blue.

Two: The sky is...blue?

One: Yes. And there are clouds in the sky.

Two: Clouds? In the sky?

One: Yes. And it will rain later today.

Two: It will rain later today?

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: A great movie. 9/10 for me. I'm a huge fan of Caesar. Can't wait for the next installment.

Garbage Pail Kids....before that I watched The Castle of Fu-Manchu and Riding with Death. I watched all of them today. The Castle of Fu-Manchu and Riding with Death were MST3K and Garbage Pail Kids was on my own. I either subconsciously hate myself or have a very high tolerance for pain...I am thinking it is a bit of both.

Rich Hill, the movie. It's a documentary about some poor families near here. It won big awards but I was not really impressed.

"As Above So Below". A thriller that takes place in the catacombs. One of those movies that confuses the viewer with the back & forth, weird time & space continuum. Not sure how I would rate it. I will say, it brought my claustrophobia raging to the forefront of my mind.
