What We Do In The Shadows; a new New Zealand flick about lives of 4 vampires living as flatmates in modern day Wellington, NZ. A silly, lighthearted comedy that probably under 40 crowd would likely to enjoy more. I enjoyed it even though the character interactions and dialogs seemed a bit flat at times. My score: 6/10
Kill Me Three Times; the new Simon Pegg flick with a really good supporting cast. I couldn't quite determine what general category the movie would fall in. It seemed like a comedy but as I watched it, it became more of a crime/thriller and bloody action/drama type. I am thinking it would have been much better if it had more humor and silliness in it, kind of like the type of movie Simon Pegg had been in initially along the lines of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Paul. It wasn't a bad movie though and I think most of those who enjoyed him in other movies will enjoy this one too. Two Greek guys from the flick 300 - Rise of an Empire and Brian Brown is in it too so, u can't go wrong.
My score: 7/10
Evil (Ondskan); Re-watched this old favorite of mine but figured I mention it just in case if I never had before. This 2003 Swedish drama is something you have to see if you enjoy high school dramas and Scandinavian flicks. Gritty acting and beautiful cinematography, especially at the end showing a part of a n old Swedish town. Time period is presumably early to mid 1950s. A must see imho. My score: 10/10
