They also didn't portray communism and socialism as evil as it actually was during the Cold War. Hollywood and our liberal education system never go into communist crimes against humanity the way we learn about the Nazis and the Japanese in WW2. I guess that's not surprising we have these government officials, Common Core planners, and liberal teachers who support socialism themselves. Look at how many teachers unions have endorsed Sanders.
Are you capable of doing or discussing anything without politicizing it?

Groundhog Day. It is one of my favorite comedies. I have seen it 3-4 times before.

Red Eye. It wasn't supposed to be a comedy but the second half was nuts.

A few minutes of Furious 7- Turned it off. Could not stomach the stupidity.

The Take with John Leguizamo and Tyrese Gibson. Good film- recommend

The Surface with two character actors whose name I cannot recall. Good film- Recommend. Had the Goonies kid in it I believe.
