A few stand out,

-Home Alone. In westwood village, in southern california. Really hot movie center at the time. Wonderful movie to see with an audience.

-Spaceballs. Quintessential kids 80's movie.

In second place would be Big trouble in little china. Or Ghostbusters. Some of those you had to see in the 80's.

-Jurassic Park. Had never seen anything like it.

-Recently, King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters. Maybe the best documentary I've seen in a theater. Audience really liked it and was behind it.

I love a good theater experience. It really can enhance the viewer's enjoyment. It's too bad people are so rude these days, with cellphones and loud discussion.
Lakewooder, I remember seeing How the West Was Won at some special theater, I think my class took a field trip.

I'll put a star by the films I saw in a huge wide-screen theater.

*Local Hero (takes place mostly in Scotland, gorgeous scenery)

*Lawrence of Arabia (that one scene by the oasis, when Lawrence meets Sherif--wow)

*Romeo and Juliet (1968 Zeffirelli version, my class took a field trip)

Seabiscuit

Hope and Glory (with this film, the theater's sound system really makes a difference. )

What WAS the last movie I saw in a theater?? "Analyze This" or "Analyze That", whichever came out first...it was a date. Most of the time I just watch them at home when they come out on TV.
