Default Steve Carell movies

A couple of weeks ago I rented "Evan Almighty." Not that great, but it was entertaining.

Yesterday afternoon (Saturday), I watched "40 Year-Old Virgin," which was highly recommended to me by a co-worker. It was crude in some spots, but overall a funny film. My favorite scene was where Steve Carell's character, Andy Stitzer, and his friends were at a salon to get Andy's chest hair waxed off. A little painful to watch, I'll admit, but it had me laughing pretty hard. I also like the fact that this movie was filmed entirely here in the greater Los Angeles area, namely Encino in the San Fernando Valley.

I saw a preview earlier tonight for Steve Carell's newest movie, "Dan in Real Life." When that comes out on DVD, I'll rent it--it looks interesting, at least in the preview.

Can you tell I'm on a Steve Carell kick right now? For the moment, he's at the top of my list of favorite actors.

I had to wait forever to get Miss Potter from netflix, my son left the room after 20 minutes and my husband fell asleep. It was 'nice', beautiful scenery, but a little too genteel for many I am sure.

I rented Prozac Nation, Willard, and Winter Passing last week.

Prozac Nation wasn't that great (i only rented it for the BRIEF scene with Emily Perkins), Willard i had already seen and just wanted to watch it again, and Winter Passing was odd, but good.

I recently got 'Bobby' from netflix. It was good. I originally wanted to see it because of Shia Labeouf, but the whole cast was good and overall the movie was pretty good. Next is 'The Greatest Game Ever Played'.
