Mall Cop, not funny but the kids liked it. I was surprised that it wasn't very funny.

Taken, that kept me on the edge of my seat!

Valkyrie, ok, but I was tired so had a hard time getting into it.

Bride Wars, funny!

I've got that new one with Renee Zellwiger to watch later today since it looks like our baseball game is going to be rained out, AGAIN...grrrr

Recent films I've rented:

Taken-excellent film, I would highly recommend it.
Marley and Me-a very good one, I enjoyed it as well.
Seven Pounds-I love Will Smith but this movie was really bad.

The Devil Wears Prada, from Netflix. I just love Meryl Streep and the character's sarcastic, cynical sense of humour. I also enjoy the british actress, with her quips, and what not. Of course, all the shoes, bags, clothes, ...

Rented (and watched) OUT OF AFRICA last night. I've seen it before, but had an urge to see it again. Fabulous movie. Beautiful to watch. I cried at the end.

Also rented TAKEN, but I haven't watched it yet. Maybe tonight. I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Brought the following movies back yesterday:

Revolutionary Road - pretty exhausting but a good movie, great actors!
Deception - boring at the beginning but then it was quite good, although it wasn't that amazing
Personal matters - Hmmm, one can watch it but I don't think I would watch it twice.
Disney's Tarzan for DS - so sweet!

My Dinner With Andre. I didn't so much walk out as I pushed the eject button on the VCR. If I'd been in a theater I would have walked out.

"Panic in Needle Park"-One of Al Pacino's first roles; a very gritty film about heroin addiction.

Has anyone seen this one?

I netflixed Revolutionary Road with Kate and Leonardo. Don't expect a happy happy joy joy movie - it's deep and you need to be in the right frame of mind to appreciate it - great script and superior acting. 3 1/2 out of 5
