I have been looking for the title to a movie made in the 1930s I think, about a woman who loses her job and ends up getting a job as a hair dresser/stylist. Back then, hair stylists were not as well respected. She develops a relationship with someone who is married and her friend who got her the job gets into a relationship with the owners son. The owners son dumps her and she commits suicide. so sad!
I'd love to get a copy of this movie and give it to my hairdresser who is wonderful and very very RETRO chic in every way.
