One of my favorite films ever. I saw it a billion times as a kid in theater when it came out and to this day will watch several times a year. It's just such a fun film and the costumes are so colorful and pretty.

He'll save every one of us.

Cheezy flik. One of the dumbest right next to He-Man, Captain America and the first two "Punisher" fliks!

OH! Don't forget Krull!!!!!

"Flash! Flash! I love you, but we only have 24 hours to save the Earth!"

Dialogue like that is worth its weight in gold.

Thanks for informing me
Honestly I never saw that flick but I'd like to. I'm glad Queen made a whole soundtrack to this movie.
Incidentally my name (FlashM) here has nothing to do with Flash Gordon. It was a mere coincidence

I see Mark S was sarcastic
Well, first off it was made to entertain us like lots of other movies. Do you prefer a Superman saying a sophisticated philosophical boloney? That would be ridiculous.

I believe Mark was being appreciative at least that's the way I took it and I agree with what he said. Great campy dialog which is so much fun

Yes.

I LOVE Flash Gordon. It's so unbelievably awful that it surpasses its own awfulness and takes on a supreme greatness. The dialogue, Sam J. Jones, Brian Blessed, Topol, Timothy Dalton, Max von frickin' Sydow! How can anyone in their right mind not adore that movie?
