Yes. This movie was really more of a challenge than Borat, both for Cohen and for the viewer.
I was very entertained, if appalled along with it. SPOILER BELOW
That toddler casting scene was a mind-blower. She needs to lose 10 pounds, be around heavy equipment, be on a crucifix etc etc
Is it really not rehearsed? I thought that until I saw a preview featuring Paula Abdul walking into his house and being asked to sit on human furniture--how could she not know who it was?! How can anyone not know who he is??!!
I can't wait to see it! It opens in theaters today!!!
I LOVED Borat! I really liked it when he was at the mansion with all those uppity genteel folks and he brought his bag of sh*t to the table and asked that lady what he should do with it. I also liked the outtakes at the end of the movie (on my DVD) where he is in a grocery store asking the guy who works there if this is cheese - and it goes on for like 10 minutes!

I love the part where he get the drivering lesson that was classic
Yeah, the driving lesson. "Are you my boyfriend?" Also, there's another outtake where he gets a massage from a male massage therapist that is just hilarious! In the movie, I liked that part where he and Asamat went into that swanky hotel with their underwear hanging out and said "Just a couple of pimps - no ho's" and they got thrown out.

I guess I must have the sense of humor of a 17 year old teenaged boy, but this was the funniest movie I have EVER seen. The last time I laughed this hard at a movie was at Peter Sellers in The Pink Panther 30 years ago. Actually he is kind of a cross between Sellers and Andy Kaufman. The guy is absolutely brilliant. His physical comedy is just unmatched. Strangely enough, I didn't think Borat was that funny, so go figure. We also relived and laughed at all the different parts in the car ride home. Really, really good. And, I need to see it again because I was laughing so hard, I missed hearing some lines!
