Default Welcome to the action movie lounge!!!

This is the thread that allows you to post pics and commentary on your favorites action movie! It can be a SCI FI action flick! Friendly debate is allowed. I'll start off with a movie I can watch over and over again! Never get tired of this!

This movie had me on the edge of my seat! It had everything in all the right doses! Humor, romance, heist, sidekick, villain, henchmen, explosions and memorablr one-liners.

"Yippy Ki Yay M-----er!"

"Come out to the coast....get togetha....have a few laughs."

Die Hard is a classic, and it did a lot for the progression of action film into the 90's, but no action-flick discussion is complete without mentioning Arnold. His action films dominated the 80's. It's debatable, but he's the first real action star in my opinion.

Well, my all-time favorite action film is Terminator 2 (although it's not 80's Arnold). From the 80's, I'd have to say Predator. "If it bleeds, we can kill it." Gives me chills every time that part comes up, haha.

Oh yeah! Die Hard is one of my all-time favorite action movies, I never get tired of it either. I think it's definitely Bruce's best action film and Alan Rickman played one of the best villains I've ever seen in this movie. Die Hard 2 was pretty good too, but not as good as the original.

Meh...I wasn't too impressed with Behind Enemy Lines. It was worth seeing once, but I don't really care if I ever see it again.

Die Hard 12 was the best:

YouTube - The ben stiller show - die hard 12: die hungry

Seriously, though, I am hopeful The Expendables will kick off a new era of great 80's style action movies:
