Default Also need help on movie title, Magnificent 7 style movie??

During the late 60's early to mid 70's. I remember it being about 7 friends going off to war. There was a scene at the beginning where the guys were getting ready to go off to war & they were celebrating with their town people, their girls, drinking etc.. at a pub or something & then they went out into the street, kissed their girl goodbye & left in an open wagon maybe or a carriage/stagecoach to go off to war.??. At the end of the movie, the few guys that lived came back on horses & one guy had half an arm left. It was kind of a 1800's type war.

I have thought it was The Magnificent 7 or The Return of the Magnificent 7, but it wasn't. I know the movie I'm trying to remember had the scenes i described above.

If someone can pull this rabbit out of a hat, I would be greatly appreciative.

It might even have been a made for TV movie??
