I am actually really looking forward to seeing this movie. It looks like it is a very powerful story and there is already some Oscar buzz surrounding it. I know it has Oprah attached to it, which might turn some people off - but the story more than anything seems very good. Mo'nique and Mariah trip me out in this trailer.

Looks like a good movie.
The scene that gets me is when her mother throws the frying pan at Precious. I know this is bad to say, But at the end of this movie I hope Precious kick her mothers bleep.
This definitely was a powerful trailer. I saw it in the theaters a couple months back. I love Paula Patton too, so I am glad to see her in this movie too.
I want to see this as well, what I like about the story is that it's real, not made up. There are tons of people that grew up and are still growing up with what Precious endured. I'll bring some kleenex with me.
