Best Actor Ever? Anyone agree?
As much as some people think he was typecast I think based on pure acting skills, voice, Facial Expression, the desire he put in every movie. there is only one guy that I can think of who I think would be the greatest actor ever..... Christopher Reeve.
Great Movies like: Somewhere In Time, Street Smart, and yes the Superman movies. even though some of them were horrible he still portrayed his character very well. and yet he was no Stallone, Travolta, Cage ect.
I would take him over any of those guys.

What? Wait...
I don't...I don't get it?
I think he was an okay actor, but nothing to write home about. I'd probably go for pre-millenium De Niro, '70s Pacino, or Daniel Day-Lewis. Brando. I'll go with Brando.

I would agree he is better than the ones you mentioned but for my money the best actor of all time would be spencer tracy.

Christopher Reeve nope... I'd say, for instance Robert de Niro was pretty great, as still are Daniel Day-Lewis or Vincent Cassel, among others.

I think Christopher Reeve was very good but Pacino without doubt gets my vote for best actor. I think George Clooney is the most underrated and a very good actor as well. Other favorites are Edward James Olmos, Sean Penn, De Niro, Brando and Ralph Fiennes.

Jimmy Stewart-Edward G Robinson-Sir Laurance Olivier-Spencer Tracy.
I think the only modern day actor that comes close to these guys would be Clint Eastwood after his spaghetti western days. Given good scripts, Christian Slater is a fine actor. Just an old mans opinion.
