I have always been partial to Casino. My wife never understands why I always ask if our muffins have the same amount of blueberries.

The true story of those two guys was so interesting I think it made a great movie.

My favorite movies that Scorsese directed:

Newer Movie: The Departed (won Best Movie Academy Award 2007)
Older Movie (1980): Raging Bull
Honorable Mention(1974): Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore

But I did like De Niro as the bad guy and Nick Nolte as the wimp in Cape Fear.

Goodfellas. Two minutes into the movie and Joe Pesci pulls out a knife the size of his arm and starts stabbing a guy in his car trunk yelling "Die, die, die." My wife looked at me and said "Ok, I'm out of here."
Saw it later...what a movie!

I would say:

"Newer" movie (not really, but newer as compared with some lol): The Age of Innocence.
Older Movie: Taxi Driver.
Honorable Mention: Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore.

And I agree on the Cape Fear thing

I have to go with Goodfellas, with a tip of the hat to the operatic Gangs of New York.
