Couldn't stand it. Too much commotion, people always fighting, lots of screaming and yelling. Left me very tense and in a bad mood.

Smile I Loved that movie!

I have always loved that movie, I have it on video! I love all the actors, but my fav is Jonathan Winters! He also happens to be from Ohio, where I'm from. Also, I was born in '60, and I love old movies, and newer ones. I do miss some of the older actors tho. Anytime I find an older movie on video or dvd, I will get it if its not to much. And Thanks for the link to the movie-'It's a mad, mad, mad, mad, mad world!' Its a classic!

Default Saw it when it came out

I recently saw it again on TV and noticed a lot of humor that was too subtle for me when I was a kid (I was about 10 when I saw it in a theater).

All those honest, law abiding citizens, turning into lunatics when the possibility of getting some stolen money is dangled in front of them! Quite a comment on character.

BTW, in the long-gone movie palace where I saw this film I also saw 'It Happened at The Worlds Fair', starring Elvis; and 'The Horse Soldiers', starring John Wayne.

My husband LOVES This movie. Every time he catches it on cable he has to watch it. He loves movies like this and they are funny. All the Mel Brooks films, scavenger hunt, history of the world, and anything 3 stooges related.

I never really cared for it and think there were many other all-star cast flicks made back then which made for more pleasurable viewing.

I loved it too.
It always gave me the impression it was the type of movies where the actors could have paid the producers to be in it, it was so much fun to make.

Sorry, I've always hated that movie. It was on TV recently, and I watched it just to confirm that I still hated it. Messy, heavy-handed, witless.
