No, unfortunately I have not. He was in Dallas about 3-4 years ago and I was invited to go with a friend who had back-stage passes but I was sick and couldn't go. So now I'm sick that I didn't go.
I hear he is amazing on stage. Tons of energy.
About 30 of the movies I have are Bollywood films. Three of the ones I am particularly fond of are Mera Naam Joker, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and the classic Amar Akbar Anthony.
Have you seen him in concert?

My first concert was a SRK concert back in 1996 in San Francisco, CA.
Temptations 2004 was in Houston and its also on DVD. He has the most energy in the world. One man show.
K3G is one of my favorites.

Devdas is a great film. It's about a guy and girl in love but she is in a higher caste and when her family rejects his proposal it turns into a horrific tragedy. Devdas's slow and painful decay is quite stirring.
There's more than one version. Make sure you get the one starring Aishwara Rai. She's quite a dish!

Aishwarya is the most overrated actress in Bollywood. She should stick to Modelling.
SRK own's this film.

Aishwarya needs to stop playing these "I am naive, good girl" roles. Can't stand her!

I don't care for her, either. Her acting is quite horrible but she was truly beautiful in Mohabbatein. I like that movie because the other stories in it are great, entertaining and very, very happy. Plus, Aishwarya got to play AB's daughter and SRK's love interest.

Lagaan was fun to fun especially Cricket.
Most movies nowadays aren't as long as 2:45 to 3 hours. Its more like 2 hours to 2:30mins even with songs.
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayengey is my favorite movie and its the longest running movie on the planet. It is still playing after 14 years.

I love Bollywood, I just watched Taare Zameen Par & it made me cry...
My faves are: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai & Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge...I've seen a lot of them though like Dil to Pagal Hai, Hum Tum, Dil Chahta Hai, Salaam Namaste, Mohabattein, Mujhse Shaadi Kiroge, Om Shanti Om, Kaminey, Love Aaj Kaal, & Main aur Mrs Khanna, I have to admit I prefer more of the obscure Hindi films like: My Brother Nikhil, films that deal with serious issues that I feel are sometimes overlooked in Bollywood (just my opinion, don't attack the sender)
Favorite actresses are: Priyanka Chopra, Kajol, Deepika Padukone, & Preity Zinta. Favorite actors are: Shahid Kapur, Amitabh & Abhishek Bhachan, & SRK (of course!)
Good topic!!!

I was lucky enough to have been introduced to Bollywood movies in the '60's, and it was a wonderful experience to see them on the big screen in Asia and Africa. In those days, male and female actors were not allowed to even touch each other on the screen. "Haré Raama Haré Krishna" came out in the early 70s, and it was revolutionary, I think it was the first Bollywood picture that broke the rules. If you're interested in Bollywood pictures, try to find one from before 1975. Shops that sell Asian food often have old titles for rent on VCR.
