Priety Zinta is my fav Bollywood actress and Sanjay Dutt is my fav actor. But I also like Ahmitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Favorite movie is "Mission: Kashmir" although "LOC: Kargil" is a very close second.
Yes, I like many of the Bollywood films. In particular I like the historical stories and the pseudo-historical like Lagaan.
Some of the movies are really classics like Sholay. I love that one. Bombay (the original) is a very good movie, too, and lets the viewer see the problems between Hindus and Muslims in India. What a lot of folks don't know is that Pakistan was formed from part of India and Afghanistan. It was established as an Islamic country and many, many Muslim Indians moved there from India and many Hindu Indians moved from the area that became Pakistan to the India we know today.
Many of the Bollywood movies help to flesh out the history. Yes, there are about 2 hours of song/dance but the other 2 hours often tell a good story. Plus, I like to see all the dresses.

I love SRK. He is a classic and will always be my favorite. I feel like I enjoyed the Bollywood films more in the 1990s rather than now. They are all the same now..

Have you seen "Dil Se?" That was my first SRK movie. I watch that dancing-on-the-top-of-the-train quite often. It's a classic film scene. The guy can dance. Chaiya Chaiya.
I could have done without seeing Devdas, though. Too over the top. Too much crying. Too much of that ascot. lol

Zinta is one of my favorites. Very good acting skills. My favorite actor is Shahrukh Khan. Sanjay is good in action and funny roles. Mission Kashmir was a great movie, good acting my Hrithik. I did not like LOC, it was more like Schindler's List, very long but real.
Lagaan was fun to fun especially Cricket.
Most movies nowadays aren't as long as 2:45 to 3 hours. Its more like 2 hours to 2:30mins even with songs.
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayengey is my favorite movie and its the longest running movie on the planet. It is still playing after 14 years.
