I saw it. I wouldn't take my kids to see it (Not that I have any of the little drag-me-downs). It's one of those movies that would have given me the spooks as a kid - especially that part with the fetus-y ladies screaming in the bag with the dogs and the teeth and the flying. omg.
It was alright. I expected it to be worse, actually. You should read the book instead.
Took my 12 yr old to see it yesterday. He liked it and loved the 3d (we will al be seeing alot more 3d movies being made in the future, I think they will continue to improve) I thought it was a little too long, very black, not for young kids at all. It most definitly would be nightmare materiel.
I didn't see it in 3D - doesn't that give you a headache?
Not at all. Its come along way since the paper glasses with red and blue cellophane lenses (whooops, my age is showing)
Not all the movies theaters show 3D, you have to look for it specifically.
We didnt pay for glasses. They handed them out when we bought tickets. They were just like the ones from Beowulf, plastic
But how much did tickets cost? The regular price?
When we saw Beowulf, the price of the ticket was higher than regular.
I really liked 3-D much more than I thought I would--it has indeed come a long way.
