This movie will be set in WWII!! It will end with him being lost on that secret mission!
But who do you think should play the part?
Personally I think they will need two people. A skinny Steve Rogers and the Super Soldier....taller and more muscular. Unless they can CGI the skinny body.
My opinion-The second guy is a little too pretty in my book. I like the first guy. He's more rugged looking, and has a great look (face and body) for a superhero.
He also has the muscles!!! Check out his neck compared to the second guy. He won't need an enhanced costume like the Batmen have needed.

Whoever they pick, Cap's gotta be somebody young enough for two more sequels and the crossover Avengers movie coming out in 2012. He can't be expensive either.
So far, Sam L. Jackson (as S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury) is the only cast member announced.

Captain America!? Oh hell, quit with the comic book movies already! Can't they come up with any good ideas?
I don't know, "Iron Man" and "The Dark Knight" were both pretty good a couple years back. Movies have always made adaptations of popular fiction. This is no difference. It'll likely be a fun action movie, which is more then most action movies not based off popular fiction can say.
