I have seen many obscure 1970s/early 1980s grindhouse exploitation flicks. The type that most people here probably never heard of unless you are an extremely hardcore movie buff.
Great movie, caught it on cable the other night. Hal Holbrook is great as always. But what struck me watching this thing besides the great performances turned in by the entire cast, was the poignant writing and honest directing by newcomer Scott Teems.
