Smile What Version Of The Classic: A Christmas Carol; Do You Like Best?

I actually like the Mr. Magoo adaptation from 1962 the best. It was quite entertaining and clever with the animation and lively/emotional songs added to the storyline.

I know there are many versions...Which is your favorite? .

"Scrooge" with Alistair Sim and "A Muppet Christmas Carol" of course ! Both perfect classic in their own unique way.

Mr. Magoo all the way--with razzleberry dressing.
I loved the animation and the songs, and they did a good job with Dickens' message.

Alastair Sim version,
Didn't care for George C Scott's version
A musical version with Kelsey Grammer was surprisingly good, songs and all....

I still remember songs from the Mr. Magoo version. My sister and I are pushing 60 and can both sing several of the songs. We watched it every year and actually cried the first Christmas it wasn't aired.

My grown up favorite is the one with George C. Scott. He was simply mesmerizing as Scrooge. I watched it 3 times this Season.
