The book was of course better than any movie could be, but I enjoyed the old cartoon version. I never saw the Ron Howard version because I can' stand Jim Carrey.
Love the cartoon, didn't too much care for the movie...don't think I even saw the whole thing. I never saw the cat in The Hat either...Mike Myers can't compete with my imagination
I'm not a Jim Carrey fan but I quite enjoyed his movie version. I'm sure some purists would hate it, but I thought it sweet and funny. Certainly not the worst Christmas movie of all time! I think that honour should go to Santa Claus Conquers The Martians or possibly Scrooged.

Now I loved Scrooged especially the Ghost of Christmas Present...she cracked me up.
Why does everyone 'dis my favorite childhood christmas movie?
