As far as vampire movies go...i thoroughly enjoyed Blade 1,2....rarely is a 1,2 film seamless in that both films are good...also rocky 1.2 were both good....but usually by the time they get to 3rd sequal...the film begins to get korny...usually do to new directers and different acters...

I'm not sure what's meant by "Adventure." Seems kind of a broad genre.

Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Librarian movies
Swiss Family Robinson
A Far Off Place
Hidalgo
High Road to China -- awesome Tom Selleck/Bess Armstrong movie from the early 80s. "Speak."
Iron Will
White Fang
Stargate
The Man from Snowy River

ETA: Was digging in my brain for the name of a shipwreck-themed movie I remembered from my childhood. Finally hunted it down: The Sea Gypsies, with Robert Logan (from 1978). Family movie about a dad who sets sail with his two daughters, a female reporter, a dog, and a young stowaway. They get shipwrecked off the coast of Alaska. Family fare, but I remember it fondly from my youth. Very much the wholesome adventure story, in the vein of the Swiss Family Robinson.

Sounds like a cool movie as i'll check it out. Robert Logan was also great in ''Across the Great Divide'' as he did a great job in those 70's adventure movies

How could I have forgotten "The Poseidon Adventure?"

I also liked "Quigley Down Under" which I would consider an adventure movie, along the lines of a western, though it's setting is Australia.
