I liked this movie. It was different. Effects were well done. The ending kinda cheesed me off, though...

I watched it twice mostly because I am a fan of all things South African and it sucked worse the 2nd time than it did the first time. It could have been so much better.

Love story?! Art thou partaking of weed?! Dude that movie was tight! Granted, I think The Hurt Locker totally deserved the best picture Oscar, but District 9 was great in its own right! It had excellent special effects that managed to not make the "prawns" look cheesy! And that ending three-way shoot-out in the shantytown was simply EPIC. Plus it was all political and ****. Dude it was totally a good movie!
